A Place That Holds Meaning


For the Dalpiaz family, Central Park wasn’t just a pretty backdrop, it was part of their story.


After graduating college, mom spent time living in New York City, and the park became a place filled with memories. It’s where she and her husband spent time together, and even more special, where they got engaged.


So when it came time to plan their family session, there wasn’t really a question of where.

They wanted to come back to the place that meant so much to them, but this time, with their son.

Letting Kids Be Kids


Their son was at that stage where everything is curious, playful, and constantly in motion, and instead of trying to slow that down, we leaned all the way into it.


We didn’t force poses or ask for stillness.

We let him run, explore, laugh, and just be.


Because that’s the thing about this season of life: it’s fleeting. And the magic is in who they are right now, not in perfectly posed photos.


The way he reached for their hands, the way he giggled as he ran ahead, the little in-between moments - those are the memories that matter.

Capturing this Chapter in the City


More than anything, this session was about documenting a chapter.

A chapter where their son is still small, while they are still a family of three.


Where life feels a little chaotic, a little beautiful, and full of movement.

Where New York City becomes part of his story too.


There was something really special about watching them walk through a place that had meant so much to them years ago, now experiencing it in a completely new way as a family.
